You know how your social/online information feeds work. When you browse or engage with something, your activity data is used by computer algorithms to show you more of the same kind of things that have caught your fancy previously. The case is sort of similar with your mind. Unless you make an active choice, followed by suitable action, to see things differently than you already do, your mental feed is unlikely to change. It’ll keep picking those things from your environments that it’s learnt to do. And keep showing you things you’ve been seeing before, thus maintaining your existing view of the world. ~ Mickey Kumra
